Tubes, trains and doubledecker buses...we've arrived in London!

Don't bother asking for a restroom or bathroom...it's called a toilet!  Love this crazy city!

First full day in London was beautiful!  The sun came out and we felt nary a drop of rain.  However, it continues to be briskly cold so we bundle up like crazy!  Jet-lag hit us all pretty hard this morning as we awoke for church.  Our dear friends and amazing hosts, Chris and Becca Stephenson, attend the Hyde Park ward so off we went on the bus and Tube to the picturesque Kensington area.  The church is nestled among the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums.  It really stands out with it's huge gold spire and glowing Christus statue (it is the only chapel to have a visitors center in the foyer).  We loved the service as we met tons of people visiting from all over the world...everyone was super friendly!  After church we grabbed a bite to eat at a restaurant famous for their crepes...delish!  The museums were next on our list and they did NOT disappoint.  I was worried that the kids would be bored, especially since they were so blitzed, but we all loved our time spent looking at amazing fresco's and other super old (but cool) stuff at the V&A.  A walk down to Hyde park was in order after museum overload.  We saw swans in the Serpentine lake, the Princess Diana memorial fountain, and also ran through nearby Kensington Gardens to look at the glittery golden awesomeness of the Prince Albert statue.  As the sun went down we ran through the Natural History Museum where we took in cool dino replicas.  Jake was thrilled!  Anywhoo...lots and lots of amazing stuff to see but not enough time to see it all!!!
